This week’s Contributor Of The Week (in fact our first ever contributor of the week) is… Pippa Myring!
Pippa works with me on the Community side of One&Other and has this week written four fantastic articles on a diverse range of topics, ranging from a controversy over the relocation of a drug recovery centre in York, to a write up of a TED lecture for our current ‘TED A Day’ series on escaping poverty in Nairobi.
My favourite of her articles this week is the excellent piece on the Wiki black-out and the online piracy debate that is currently raging. It’s a great article, and made clear an issue that I really wasn’t that sure on, in clear and entertaining prose, just what good journalism should do.
Pippa has been fantastic ever since getting involved with One&Other and is going to be helping me out with some exciting non-editorial projects for the Community side of One&Other that will take what we are doing to another level.
