Five York based food and drink companies have been shortlisted for the 2012 Deliciouslyorkshire awards.
The award ceremony is set to take place in three weeks’ time at the National Railway Museum on Thursday 25th October.
Ceremony tickets for the awards are £55 (including VAT) each and include pre-dinner drinks, a 3 course meal and accompanying drinks. A form on the website is available for people who wish to purchase tickets for the event.
Last year’s winners from the area included York Speciality Foods Ltd who won Best Sweet Preserve. This year, the number of nominations from York is the biggest number of nominations an area in the category list which is a healthy sign of the state of food and drink industry in the area.
The York nominations for this year’s awards are listed below:
