This is Britain, this is summer, this is a festival: After a remarkably settled Friday kicked off this years Galtres, it was time for to authenticate its self with the one thing that British Summer Time seems to do best; the festival deluge. With straw down in preparation and then wood chippings in response, the Galtres team were ready for whatever late August, in a field, in North Yorkshire could throw at them.
Even the jet-stream expressing its self wasn’t going to stop either the bands or festival goers alike enjoying each others company for another stunning day of eclectic variety across four key stages. Our day two musical highlights include Holly Tamar, The Virgin Mary’s, Hand Made Hands, The Happy Endings, Ellen and the Escapades, JP Cooper, Guillemots and Saturdays main stage headliner-Ash.
