A garden centre in Whitby has been attracting delighted crowds with a new member of the family, a white baby reindeer.
The Victoria Farm Garden Centre in Whitby, North Yorkshire, has been drawing in the visitors with the reindeer they have named ‘Snowy’. This name is temporary, as they are giving the public a chance to give her a better name.
With the chance of an all-white baby reindeer being roughly one in 10,000, this a sight rarely seen, especially in England. The six month old reindeer is completely white, yet not classed as albino as it does not have red eyes.
Instead of pulling Santa’s sleigh this Christmas, Snowy will be spending her December surrounded by excited children at the garden centre, getting everyone into the festive spirit.
