Hello, I’m Jasmine. I’m 23, and I have a degree in English Literature and Language. I enjoy shopping, Harry Potter, a good cup of coffee (with cake!), long walks with my dog Misty, French movies, wildlife documentaries and rosé wine amongst other things. I love everything about York, and really enjoy writing about events in the city; now I want to go to them all! I’m very open minded and like meeting new interesting people and hearing about new ideas. I love discovering new things and seeing new places and I’d love to travel the world and see it all. Although for right now, York is a pretty good place to be!

Secret hideout in York:
I don’t think I have a “secret” hideout, but I do like Museum Gardens when it’s sunny and a cosy coffee shop when it’s raining.
Favourite things about living here:
There’s so much variety: the eccentric mix of people, so many different things to do and see. Plus it’s so pretty and people come from all over the world to see it, I feel lucky to live so close to it.

Montey’s, The Habit, Stone Roses Bar, 1331…
Best insiders tip:
Don’t get too close to the geese along the riverbank, they’re not too friendly.
