If your visiting York, don’t stick to a couple of busy, main streets in the centre. Many of the best shops are on side streets. My favourite street in York is the Fossgate area.

Mumbai Lounge on Fossgate is my favourite Indian in York; the food is delicious. Oscars is my other favourite, I always take visitings friends for their large portions and cosy atmosphere.
