This is the annual Xmas fair that offers a beautiful range of handmate work: a place where you can experience a showcase of local wares, shared ideas and support for some of the cleverest crafters and makers in the city.

Some of the region’s finest designers, makers, crafters and artists will converge on York city centre to sell their unique wares.
At the event – which is free and open to the public – shoppers will be able to browse a wide range of handcrafted, vintage and locally-made items and craft supplies. There’ll be eye-catching fashion accessories, fabulous home furnishings, quirky art prints, DIY craft kits, stunning jewellery, beautiful stationery and even personalised art work. Shoppers can discover items they wouldn’t usually find on the high street, while also supporting small independent businesses based in York.

The St. Nicholas Fair brings magical stalls and merriment up to 23 December: soak up the atmosphere and aromas of warming mulled wine whilst you enjoy York’s ultimate Christmas experience.
