No Fete But What We Make: Bishophill Summer Fete

8th June 2016

The residents of Bishophill will be having a Summer Fete in their Community Garden on 19 June.

There’ll be live music, scones, tea, cakes, face painting, BBQ, art activities, beer tent, stalls with books, DVDs, plants and crafts for sale, picnics, egg and spoon, three legged and sack racing, traditional games, biscuits and shenanigans. Come and celebrate with one of the friendliest, loveliest communities of York.

All proceeds will go to refugee charities: the organisers still need helpers and donations, especially plants for the plant stall. If you can help on the day, or have plants to donate, please let them know, and if your plants need a boost there’s still plenty of compost in the community garden.

If you can help with any of the above, you can join the feted band of volunteers HERE.
