The Gillygate Shed Off The Wall Festival: 16 – 31 December 2016

The Great Yorkshire Fringe is now on sale with a two week festival to help celebrate the festive season.

Featuring comedy, music and cheer culminating in a sparkling New Years Eve Bash, events will be held in The Gillygate Shed at The Gillygate in York from 16 - 31 December in conjunction with the Fifth Quarter Businesses.

Tony Law Friday 16 & Saturday 17 December: 7pm, £15

Harlequins Comedy Friday 16 & Saturday 17 December: 9pm, £10, Conc £8

Presenting four of the hottest up-and- coming stand-ups the UK comedy circuit has to offer. Celebrate your weekend with a memorable night of big laughs.


Off The Wall Christmas Dog Show Saturday 17 December: 2pm

In aid of the RSPCA York Animal Home. £2 entry per category, register your dog at The Gillygate from 1.15pm.


The Arts Barge Collective presents The Incredible Hammond Band Tuesday 20 December: 7.30pm, £12, Conc £7

Bringing you the 60s and 70s sounds of Jimmy Smith, Booker T, Alan Hawkshaw and many more.

And to see in the New Year…

The Gillygate New Year’s Eve Bash Saturday 31 December: 7pm, £35 before 15 December, £40 after

An ‘Off the Wall’ New Year’s Eve celebration including music and entertainment throughout the night from The Arts Barge Collective. Join up for a family friendly atmosphere to see in the New Year. Included in the price is supper and midnight fizz.
