The Arts Barge Project Presents The Great Yorkshire Swing

1st July 2016

This went down a storm last year, so they just had to do it all again…

York’s Arts Barge Project and Pure Lindy team up to bring you a stylish evening of 1940s Lindy Hopping fun to the excellent swing music of Rinkadon Jukeboy and His Blind Tiger Dance Band. You can learn how to Lindy Hop even if you’ve got two left feet and dance the night away in the famous and fabulous circular Spiegel tent where Marlene Deitrich once sang… yes, really!

If you’re not a dancer, just soak up the scene - splendid music, spectacular dance performances and unique historic venue. Don your retro togs, hairdos and hats, and don’t miss it, it’s really special. A fundraising event for The Arts Barge Project.

This event takesz place on Monday 18 July from 8-11pm at the White Rose Rotunda, Parliament Street York. Tickets are £18 adults, £16 concessions.
