La Boheme is one of the most romantic operas ever written, a true Puccini masterpiece which tells the tragic tale of the doomed, consumptive Mimi and her love for a penniless writer. This classic tale of Parisian love and loss features many famous arias including Your Tiny Hand is Frozen, They Call Me Mimi and Muzetta’s Waltz. Highlights include a colourful carnival scene, with street entertainers, gypsy dancers, a local band and Muzetta’s dog.
This rendition comes courtesy of the internationally acclaimed Ukrainian National Opera of Kharkiv with a selection of hand picked soloists plus a highly praised chorus and full orchestra.
