On the 2nd of May, an uplifting musical comes to York’s Monkgate Theatre. Written and directed by E C R Roberts, and produced by Drip Drop Theatre, we are given an evening of excellent choreography, 16 original songs and a romantic comedy plot-line. We follow the journey of Helen, a 4o year old widow, who begins the play wanting to escape from life and hide in a quiet life in her cafe, away from the world. Until her life is brought back into life again when we are introduced to Philip, a possible love interest for Helen. Can she fall in love all over again with him?Amongst this, Helen has to deal with her family and friend’s relationship issues on top of her own dilemmas, which include becoming grey.
