This five-piece indie rock band from Minnesota have been critically acclaimed, with one reviewer remarking that ‘Howler might just be the saviours of the American guitar band’ and their debut being called ‘a cracking debut from a young band on the verge of big things. Highly recommended’. Howler have been played on BBC Radio 1 and they recently performed in the famous Live Lounge for Lauren Laverne on 6music. They also recently completed their debut session for Radio 1 at the BBC Maida Vale studios and were named NME’s third Best New Band of 2011.
The group consists of Jordan Gatesmith on lead guitar and vocals, Brent Mayes on drums, Ian Nygaard on guitar, Max Petrek on bass.
