Roxanna Klimaszewska presents Keep Up! An Interactive children’s theatre tour, Comissioned by Imove
As part of the Imove Cultural Olympiad, Six Lips Theatre’s Roxannna Klimaszewska presents and directs a collaborative piece of Children’s Theatre. Keep Up!
Keep Up! is an exciting storytelling spectacle, embedded with games, challenges, races and other Olympic silliness. Set against the backdrop of beautiful Rowntree Park, this will be a magical day for all the family, featuring guest appearances by Nike, Zeus, a sumo wrestler and the tortoise and the hare.
The performance is an interactive promenade, incorporating film, movement, performance and art which aims to encourage children of a primary school age to expolre their notions of athleticism and healthy body image as part of the Olympic season.
Keep Up! is a project developed in partnership with Imove, Legacy Trust UK’s celebratory programme for Yorkshire and part of the Cultural Olympiad. Imove has been funded by Legacy Trust Uk, creating a lasting impact from London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by funding ideas and local talent to inspire creativity acorss the UK.
