Formed in 1999, Manning is fronted by singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Guy Manning, who also founded The Tangent. Guy is joined by Julie King, Kris Hudson-Lee, Kev Currie, Steve Dundon, Chris Catling, Martin Thisleton and Rick Henry. The band’s sound can be best described as progressive, spanning many genres like folk and rock. This summer will see Manning appear at plenty of festivals following the release of their twelfth album.
DeeExpus, a band from the North East, was formed by soloist Andy Ditchfield. Andy is joined by Tony Wright, with whom he first started playing when the two were in school together, Michael McCrystal on guitar, John Dawson on bass, Henry Rogers on drums and Mike Varty on keyboard. The band just released ‘The King’ with Edel/Earmusic and will co-headline this show with Manning.
