Me and My Friends blend of folk, reggae and old-time roots beautifully and they are playing art the wonderful Milton Rooms.
Described as playing ‘Gentle folk melodies sit alongside syncopated rhythms from all over, mixing nylon-string guitar, cello, clarinet and layered vocals in often unusual but always utterly charming ways.’
The Milton Rooms is supported by illustrious patrons; Kathy Burke, Imelda Staunton, Jools Holland and Bill Nighy, and aims to collaborate with established and emerging artists, to make Malton a hub of excellence for the arts, in all creative fields, and the Me and My Friends fulfil this brief.
