Club Integral Northern Branch presents a distinctive evening filled with a host of unique acts, for a night of music to hear and see.

The club prides itself on presenting acts that are out of the ordinary and April 28 will be no exception. Music, dance and film will be intertwined to produce a jam-packed show.

There are 3 different acts performing as well as a specially commissioned interactive music theatre performance from recent York graduate James Whittle. It starts at 19.30 with free dal and rice, and then the performances start at 20.00.

The first performance will be from Theo Burt and Tim Wright with an audio and visual projected performance, Bastard Structures II. This involves two projectors showing mesmerizing, flickering images linked to sonic counterparts. Theo Bart creates the images that are formed by the waveform and amplitude of electronic sounds whilst Tim Wright produces the musical rhythms. This show will contain strobe lighting.

The second act is soprano Peyee Chen and filmmaker Mick Lynch with a piece called See Scores. They perform a live vocal performance and film with quirky vocal scores by Berio, Aperghis and Gee. Mick Lynch has specially commissioned a film to be screened with Chen’s performance.

The final performance is by five professionals, two musicians and three dancers, called Mathilde. They make decisions in real time and perform spontaneous interactions with each other. They express ideas in movement and perform them to music; every performance is different and the audience can join in if desired.

If you fancy experiencing this unique evening of entertainment then get your tickets now, it is not to be missed.
