Oscar Nominated, Directed by Simon Curtis, starring Michelle Williams, Eddie Redmayne and Kenneth Branagh, “My Week with Marilyn’ is a powerful and uplifting story documenting the interaction between Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe during production of The Prince and the Showgirl. Selby Town Hall is airing a screening of this relatively new film interpretation and at only £3 it looks to be an alternative event that really should not be missed.
Selby Globe is a not- profit, volunteer run organization, so get yourself down to the event on the 16th of this month not only to show your support for their effort but to enjoy a spectacular example of modern cinema.
