An exhibition of drawings illustrating the songs of Bob Dylan by the son of artist Lucian Freud. This will be Frank Paul’s second exhibition in York of these images from his tortured imagination. Frank’s drawings can only be described in terms of those familiar with the Strewelpeter books or to be found in a Bosch’s painting.
The review of these images by Mark Ellen, Editor of The Word Magazine states “Like so many of us, Frank Paul has an unshakeable fascination for the great man’s words and music. And an advantage, too – he wasn’t born when the bulk of his catalogue was released so his vision isn’t clouded by the clichés and misconceptions that surrounded it at the time.”
