Pocklington Arts Centre have opened their doors to an exciting new exhibition by The Pieces of Eight Arts and Craft Group. There is a wonderful mix of talent exhibiting and demonstrating their skills. The group comprises of Shirley Davis Dew (Watercolour/Acrylics), Gerry Grant (Pottery), Alf Fenton (Wooden puzzles and intarsia), Anthony Dew (Rocking Horse maker), Gill Dearman (Textiles), Debbie March (Glass- work), Tracey Spurgin (Silver Jewellery) and Penny De Corte (Ceramicist).
It is well worth popping over to the delightful market town of Pocklington on market day as a selection of the artists on display will be demonstrating their expertise every Tuesday until May 8.

Gerry Grant of Fangfoss Pottery will also be in Parliament Street York this coming weekend for York’s annual Easter Fare, weather permitting he will also be demonstrating throwing on the wheel.
