This exhibition of landscape and grotesques is part of the North Yorkshire open studios and the gallery is open specifically for this event two weekends in June. On the Friday of the opening weekend York poets Rose Drew, Alan Gillott, John Gilham, Pauline Kirk and Martin Huxter will be reading poetry exploring the universe of landscape. The public will be invited to consider the interplay between art and poetry and how one can influence and enrich the other.
The North Yorkshire Open Studios has begun and the opening event is at 7pm on 8 June. The gallery is normally only open by appointment except during exhibitions. Checking the website and calling the gallery is advised.
