Brought to you by the ‘Division of Spectacular Tasks’, Bar Lane Studios presents Jumble Sale! a monthly event that will allow York based artists to promote their projects, browse the stalls of vintage-ware, records and ‘affordable’ art, all whilst enjoying records spun by special guests at the event. The ‘Division’ is the basement at Bar Lane, a versatile space used as an alternative gallery or band/performance practise areas. This event will see the basement be converted into a space for sharing, a place where artists can share, swap and promote interests, skills and their own art, before the space is then transformed into venue ‘Wrong Side of the River’. The encouragement to get involved is sent with the message ‘Forget D.I.Y and do it with others! SHARING IS GOOD!’
