On the first Tuesday of every month, both novice and established poets gather to share their work at The Exhibition Hotel, a creative night created and held by Rose Drew and Alan Gillott.
The Spoken Word open mic night is held in the conservatory at the rear of The Exhibition Hotel and is open for all to share their written prose and poetry. With each person slotted approximately five minutes, they are free to read their own creations, or even share their favourite poem. And with the festive season approaching, expect some Christmas-themed poems, prose and monologues.
