The 8 Wonders Tour will investigate how the number 8 has played such an integral part, in shaping York Minster, through design and technology, from 1212 to 2012.
Hidden stories will be uncovered and reveal how the number 8 has shaped the past and future of York Minster. The 8 Wonders and 8 centuries at York Minster will uncover the greatest treasures to the smallest curiosities. This will shed new perspective on some of the grandest and sometimes misunderstood features of the Minster.
The 8 Wonders include: The Chapter House, The Quire, The Five Sisters Window, The Kings Screen, The Old Palace, The Great West Window, The Nave and the Astronomical Clock.
